Dear Parents and High School Students,
Due to the disaster in Haiti, the student council has decided to lend
a helping hand. We have put together a "Quarter War". It will be
just like a penny war that we have had in the past, but the exception
is one wants to obtain quarters instead of pennies. Also, it will be a
high school competition between each class, and the winning class will
receive a pizza party donated by Pizza Ranch. We encourage parents to
participate and donate money for their student's class. Any amount
will do. The war will start on Monday, February 8th and end on
February 12th. You can bring the money to the high school office and
put it in the designated tubs for each class, (reminder: all other
pieces of change count as a negative for your opponents, so you do not
need to bring just quarters.) We hope everyone becomes a part of this
to help raise money for Haiti because if you think about it. How many
of you were able to shower today or how many of you are wearing shoes?
People in Haiti are not able to have luxuries like that.
Also, the student council is putting together a Raider Recipe
cookbook. We need recipes brought in ASAP, so we can put the cookbook
together before the pops concert. If you bring in a recipe, take it
to the office or give it to Mallory Milder. Any questions see Mallory
or Mrs. Rickords.
Thanks.
